To be honest, I don’t know where to start with this letter as you’ve done so much for me in terms of getting me through tough times.

First of all, I want to thank you. Your music has helped me overcome and understand a lot of things. I am Half Black and Half White just like you, so I know what it felt like to not be accepted because of it. We were either “too black” for the white kids, or “too white” for the black kids.
