Dear Drake,

I’ve been your fan since 2008. My name is Ovsanna Balian, I am 20 years old (turning 21 in a few months, YES LAWD), and I am from Pasadena, California. I am so inspired by your music. I love you so much! If I see you, I would cry. I am your die hard fan and everyone from my family to my friends know him! You are so unique and unlike any rapper I know because you don’t talk about sex all the time, you just talk about your life. I love how you show your emotions in your songs. It lets fans like me see the real you! And that 5AM in Toronto is a banger. You KILLED that, man. I have a lot of respect for you. I am soooo looking forward to your new album! I hope that in the fall or winter, whenever you have a tour, you can stop by University of California, Irvine or University of California, Riverside because I will be transferring to one of them from my community college. First of all, I would like to thank Team Drizzy and Word on Road for updating me with all of Drake’s news and for giving me a chance to express my feelings in a place where Drake might actually be able to read the letter i’m about to write.

Dear Drake,

This may be the hardest thing I had to write yet it is the most honest and truthful letter that wont take much thinking because all I’m going to say is just there in my heart, also loud in my head.
You once said to tattoo your name so you’d know its real well if you read this I believe its much better than just a tattoo. If I had to tattoo every part of my body in order to make you listen to me and notice me, well I would definitely do.
When I first watched Degrassi and that episode of you rapping “Tell Me Lies”, I knew you’d be famous one day. I wasn’t into rap back in the day because I was really young and it was hard to recognize the lyrics but after you dropped “So Far Gone”, I fell in love with the way you sound. The way you rap, your life story and every single word you said.
I kept waiting for you to drop an album until you dropped “Thank Me Later”. The first time I heard it, I fell in love. Not just with your music, but with you. You’re an amazing person, actually its really hard to explain the way I feel about you.
I have never loved any person that much, I keep getting more obsessed when you drop any new song. Take Care is incredible, Its not easy to choose my favorite song out of this album but I gotta say I love knowing more things about you while listening to your great voice. You’re the definition of perfection.
You are the reason I get good grades in school, because my father was really mad that I never study and I always fail subjects so since he knows that you’re the most important person to me, he promised me If I get good grades I can go to the OVO Festival this summer in Canada.
He promised me to fly all the way from Egypt to Canada in order to make my dream come true. I gotta say I have never been this excited yet terrified more in my whole life.
Studying and waiting for the Festival is pressuring, but looking at the bright side; I’m going to see the greatest rapper alive AKA Grammy Award Winning Artist, Drake.
Look what you’ve done to me, my life has changed to better all because of you. All you had to do is tell your story and be yourself.
I love waking up to your pictures in my bedroom, which is by the way is literally full of your pictures. I love wearing your merchandise, it makes me feel happy. I love you. I love you so much. I love you more than you can ever imagine.
